Harbourview Hotel macau is a new hotel that opened in Feb 2015. This unique experience combines historic charm and modern elegance.
This wonderful hotel boasts a sophisticated and exquisite design based on 18th century Prague. At the reception, you see paintings of 18th century Prague and straight away, you are transported into a different world.
The room offers stellar value. Being a new hotel, everything in the room is new. Decorated in pale, soothing hues, the room is beautiful and relaxing. The room is also in European style like the rest of the hotel. Think patterned fabric and ornate furniture. Usually, I would have found faux European designs kitschy but here, it was elegant.
The bed is a real joy. Crisp and clean, the sheets sport a faint broad strip pattern and they feel like they have a high thread count, just like the best of sheets. The pillows are thick and heavy. I feel so pampered and cocooned in this bed. There are around 30 channels on the television, a mixture of local and cable channels. The best part is, the TV is 40 inches while most hotels offer only 32 inches. I was most impressed that they have correctly invested into USB charging ports. Thank god they understand the needs of the modern traveller.
The bathroom features a shower stall and a beautiful bathtub on legs. It is so rare for new hotels to have both these days, so the hotel is already superior to others.
They have provided luxurious L’occitane toiletries for a truly relaxing shower experience.
You can watch TV while soaking in the tub as the bedroom is seperated from the bathroom by a glass window. Don’t worry, you can lower a blind for privacy.
There is one restaurant in the hotel. Praha Restaurant’s elegant design offers an authentic Eastern European atmosphere. It specialises in daily buffet and international a la carte menu.
